6 killed in bus crash in Russia's west Siberia

A bus carrying mine workers on Friday turned over in Russia's coal-producing west Siberian region of Kemerovo, claiming the lives of six people, local media reported.

According to preliminary data, 16 people were injured during the accident, four of them are in intensive care, and another 12 were in a state of moderate severity, RIA Novosti news cited a source in the local emergency services as saying.

The bus fell from a cliff when it was carrying workers to their shift. All passengers were mine workers of a local coalmine, the report said.
