Man killed in train mishap in Akaa

A middle-aged man was run over by a train on Tuesday along a track section in Akaa between Sotkia and Kylmäkoski railway stations, reported local media MTV news.
The police received information about the accident shortly after 8 am. The train driver informed the emergency response centre about the accident.
The passenger train was heading to Tampere from Turku.
The police have confirmed the identity of the victim and informed his relatives.
