1 killed in Kirkkonummi car mishap

One person was killed in a car crash in Kirkkonummi on Saturday morning, reported the local media.

According to the police, a personal vehicle and a heavy-duty vehicle collided along the main road 51 a few kilometres from the Kirkkonummi city centre on their way to Siuntio.

The accident happened shortly before 9.00 am.

The accident claimed the life of the driver of the personal vehicle, who was alone in the car. Another person was taken to hospital, but the seriousness of the person’s injuries is still unknown.

The police on Saturday morning did not reveal the gender and age of the driver killed. The accident is still under investigation, said the police.
