Finn arrested at Heathrow airport on terrorism suspicion

A Finnish citizen has been arrested in London as a suspect of preparing a terrorist act, local media reported on Wednesday.
The Finnish Foreign Ministry confirmed to a Finnish language newspaper Helsingin Sanomat the "arrest of a Finnish citizen" had taken place, but gave no further comment.
Greater London police told Finnish media on Wednesday that the detainee is a man aged 29. He was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Sunday evening at 11.00 p.m.when he was taking a connecting flight, said the police.
The police told media the alleged crime was not related to the airport. The police did not say where the flight was going or where the person had arrived from.
