Arjen Robben and Rafinha will stay for another year with Bayern Munich after signing a contract extension, the German record champions confirmed in an official statement on Friday.

Four days after Franck Ribery's contract extension, teammates Arjen Robben and Rafinha agreed to stay with the "Bavarians" as well until June 2019.

"We are delighted that we have extended the contract with theses merited players. Arjen Robben and Rafinha are playing an important role in our plans for the upcoming season," Bayern's sporting director Hassan Salihamidzic said.

Dutchman Robben joined Bayern from Real Madrid in 2009 to make 189 league appearances providing 95 goals and 65 assists ever since. He won seven Bundesliga titles and clinched four German Cup crowns. The midfielder also scored the decisive 2-1 goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final 2013.

Brazilian international Rafinha has worn Bayern's jersey since 2011 and has won six league, three German Cup titles and the 2013 Champions League crown as well.

Jupp Heynckes's men secured their sixth title defence in the row in the Bundesliga and they still have the chance to round off the season with a domestic double as they face Frankfurt in the German Cup final in Berlin on May 19.
