Snowfall forecast in Lapland

The Finnish meteorological institute has issued weather warning in Central and Northern Lapland for the beginning of the week.

The driving conditions may be bad in some places due to heavy and wet snowfall starting Monday morning, reported Finnish language daily Savon Sanomat.

Strong winds are also forecast to hit the central and northern parts of the country.

Beautiful autumn condition with temperature of up to ten degrees Celsius is, however, forecast in Eastern Finland on Tuesday. The weather in Eastern Finland should begin to brighten up on Monday afternoon onwards.
