S-Group to begin drone lunch deliveries in Helsinki

Food Market Herkku, a member of the S-Group is to begin delivery of lunch products using drones,reported national broadcastrer Yle quoting cooperative union HOK-Elanto.

The tests will begin in early June in Vuosaari,East of Helsinki.

Courtesy of the move,customers will be able to order lunch at Herkku outlets located at the Itis shopping centre.The order will then be transported on a drone.

According to the information recived,the order will reach the customer in minutes.

Delivery service Wing has entered a six-month agreement with HOK-Elanto in the project.
