Building costs rise by 0.6% in June

Building costs rose by 0.6 per cent in June 2019 compared with the stipulated month of previous year, according to the Statistics Finland.

The prices of labour inputs and services increased by 0.9 per cent while the prices of materials went up by 0.3 per cent compared to that in June 2018.

From May to June, the total index of building costs remained almost on level with the previous month. The prices of materials decreased by 0.7 per cent while the prices of labour inputs increased by 1.0 per cent.

The prices of services remained on level with May.
