Building costs raise by 0.8% in September

Building costs rose by 0.8 per cent in September this year compared to the stipulated period of the previous year, according to Statistics Finland.

The prices of labour inputs went up by 1.6 per cent and the prices of materials by 0.4 per cent.

The prices of services remained unchanged from the previous year.

From August to September, the total index of building costs grew by 0.1 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 0.2 per cent and those of labour inputs remained on level with August. Service costs fell by 0.1 per cent in September from the previous month.
