Building costs rise slightly in Dec 2019

Building costs rose by 0.2 per cent year on year in December 2019, says Statistics Finland.

Labour costs rose by 1.1 per cent and the prices of services by 0.9 per cent compared with that in December 2018. The prices of building materials fell by 0.5 per cent from one year ago.

According to this article, the price of building materials cost was 0.5 percent higher in 2018.

In December, the total index of building costs remained on level with that in November. Labour costs went up by 0.2 per cent, while the prices of building materials went down by 0.2 per cent. The prices of services remained unchanged from the previous month.
