Nordea offers installment-free periods for mortgage

Finnish financial group Nordea has decided to offer instalment-free periods to those personal and business customers in all Nordic countries who are in need of help because of the corona outbreak, said an official press release.
The Nordea bank will offer personal customers and business customers an instalment-free period of up to 6 months on their mortgages.
For small and medium-sized companies, Nordea will offer a 3-month instalment free period where needed and is ready to help our customers with other forms of relief.
“We are here to support our customers through good times and tough times as a strong and personal financial partner. The corona virus has spread quickly and it impacts the Nordic societies and our customers. That is why we have decided to install a set of quick actions to support personal customers and small and medium-sized businesses in the Nordics”, said Frank Vang-Jensen, President and Group CEO Frank Vang-Jensen.
Personal customers who need an instalment-free period, can find information on how to apply on our webpages shortly. Small and medium-sized business bank customers can find more information through their normal banking channels.
Nordea urges corporate customers to immediately contact the bank, if they are expecting any changes to their regular operations.
Nordea advises companies to draft realistic liquidity forecasts and clear cash flow budgets.
If needed, Nordea has several courses of action and instruments available to help strengthen their working capital and liquidity.
