Customers, who buy cannabidiol products are often concerned about, is the use of and buying of the products legal. There are still many customers, who are concerned about that buying cannabis products makes them automatically commit of a crime, but this is not true. For this very reason many don`t dare to buy cannabioil. It is yet important to know, what aspects affect most to, is the use of the product illegal or not.
You can read more below about the legislation of the subject. We recommend that you get familiar with it and keep it in mind, when you`re buying cannabidiol products.
Cannabidiol with THC is legal!
It is not a surprise that may think that cannabidiol is illegal. For example, following media gives you usually a wrong picture about it, because terms of the subject matter mix together, when media talks about it. Cannabidiol as what it is not illegal – THC which is in the cannabidiol plant, is illegal. It is yet only a one compound of the plant and in cbd products, for example its percentage in the final oil product is under the laws` allowed part.
When Cannabinoid plant is planted and it raises, THC is created inside of the plant (tetrahydroxidecannabiod) and CBD (Cannabidiol) and also a group of other active compounds how are all called as cannabinoids.
EU`s general legislation says that cannabis products that THC-percentage is over 0.2 % are classified as drugs. The oils that EU-based companies such as cibdol.fi sell always contain under 0.2 % THC and that’s why their products are not under this legislation. So, you can be with a safe mind to try their products which don’t cause psychoactive side-effects. The reason for it, is that their THC-percentage is so small that usually even detecting it usually needs a special device that is purposefully made for it.
Is Cannabidioil legal without THC?
In reality there is not an exact law about cannabidiol that doesn’t contain THC. It is practically just a vegetable oil without the psychoactive substance that is included in cannabis. It is well known that the components of cannabis have extremely many positive attributes. Still even with all tests and research, acceptance of CBD-oils medical attributes is a long process, presumably due THCs` well known side-affects.
Legislations` and the officials slow changes behind the recommendations has been surely a desire to make sure that the products are completely safe before it is sealed. This concerns especially products that have been bought through internet, who the consumer orders by himself.
Although there is already much research about the subject, where CBDs` effects on people have been documented, the process is still slow. If one has a knack for cynical thinking, you could assume that maybe the department of medicine has not been interested in categorizing CBD as a medicine, because as a natural remedy one cannot patent it. This yet just one theory related to the subject matter, and by any means we don’t want to say that it is just like that; but it is mentioned as a one existing point of view.
How big is the THC-percentage?
Oils` THC-percentage must not 0.2 % or it will be categorized as medicine. If the manufacturer or reseller has tests that prove and document cannabidiols` contents, it can be examined, is the products THC-percentage under 0.2% and how many other compounds there is. The existence of this kind of test is one of the best ways to ensure that you will get a safe, high-class product.
