GDP grows by 1.1% in 2019

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 1.1 per cent in 2019, according to the updated data of the Statistics Finland.

The initial preliminary data released in March put the rate of growth at 1.0 per cent. Gross domestic Product or the added value created in the production of goods and services, amounted to EUR 241 billion.

In 2018, GDP grew by 1.5 per cent (1.6 per cent in the previous calculation round).
