Posti receives Gold grade for CSR

The national postal and logistic services operator Posti has been rewarded with a Gold recognition level for the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance by EcoVadis, an international research company.

With a score of 72 out of 100 points, Posti is in the top 5 per cent of companies assessed by EcoVadis in all categories, said Posti in a recent press release.

EcoVadis is a collaborative platform providing sustainability ratings and performance improvement tools for global supply chains.

A total of 30,000 suppliers have joined EcoVadis covering 150 purchasing categories and 110 countries.

Each year they are rated in four themes: environmental, social or human rights, ethics or fair business practices, and supply chain.

“We are happy to achieve an even better result than last year. In the midst of the transformation of the industry we are very pleased to be recognised in the different areas of responsibility,” Head of Sustainability at Posti Appu Haapio said, adding, “responsibility is at the core of our operations.”
