Industrial output decreases by 2.4% in July Y-on-Y

Seasonally adjusted industrial output fell in July by 2.4 per cent from the month before, according to Statistics Finland.

Industrial output adjusted for working days, however, was 2.8 per cent higher in July 2022 than in July 2021.

Compared to one year ago, working day adjusted output grew most in the metal industry, by 6.0 per cent.

Compared to the previous month, seasonally adjusted output fell most in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 5.9 per cent.
