More people rearrange debt in Jan-Sep

A total of 3,032 debt restructuring petitions of private persons were filed with district courts in January to September 2022, according to Statistics Finland.

The number of petitions filed was 249 (8.9%) higher than in the respective period one year previously.

Altogether 47.2 per cent of debt restructuring petitions were filed by men and 52.8 per cent by women in the first three quarters of 2022.
