Trade balance shows €420m surplus in Nov

In January-November, the aggregated deficit amounted to EUR 10.0 billion.
In November 2021, the trade balance was EUR 405 million in deficit and in January-November of the same year, the aggregated deficit was EUR 3.8 billion.
The value of Finnish exports increased by 21.5 per cent, and the value of imports by 8.5 per cent in November year-on-year.
The value of Finnish exports in November was EUR 8.0 billion and the value of imports EUR 7.6 billion.
During the reference month in 2021, the value of exports increased by 33.0 per cent and of imports by 34.7 per cent.
In January-November 2021, the total value of exports increased by 21.9 per cent and the value of imports by 30.1 per cent year-on-year.
Exports to EU member states increased by 0.8 per cent, and exports to non-EU countries by 49.8 per cent in November.
Imports from EU countries increased by 9.9 per cent and imports from non-EU countries by 6.7 per cent.
Calculated from the beginning of the year, exports to EU countries rose by 22.4 per cent and to non-EU countries by 21.2 per cent.
During the same period, imports from EU member states rose by 21.8 per cent and from other countries by 41.7 per cent.
