Prices for agricultural products drop by 6.6% in Dec Y-o-Y

Producer prices of agricultural products decreased by 6.6 per cent in December 2023 compared with the previous year’s corresponding period, according to Statistics Finland.
Prices of meat and animal products decreased by 2.0 per cent. Prices of plant products increased by 13.9 per cent.
The producer price of cereals decreased by 26.0 % in December 2023 compared with the previous year’s corresponding period.
The producer price of meat decreased by 0.2 % and the producer price of milk decreased by 3.0 %.
