Bank workers may go on strike this week after the disputing parties failed to reach an agreement during negotiation on Tuesday.
The strike could take place on Thursday and Friday, if a solution is not reached, reported the local media.
Negotiations under the watch of National Conciliator Minna Helle continues on Wednesday.
Employers’ unions Ammattiliitto Nousury, Trade Union Pro, Federation of Professional and Managerial Employees (YTN), Danske Bankinhenkilöstöyhdistysry, Finance Finland (FFI), and Service Sector Employers Palta are involved in the efforts to resolve the dispute.
Last week bank workers went on strike for two days.
On Tuesday, Nordea and Osuuspankkimobile services and online banking experienced disruptions. The customers experienced problems in accessing online banking and online banking services. Both banks announced the manifestation of the disruption on their webpages at noon Tuesday, reported the local broadcaster Yle.
