Output of economy falls by 1.9% in May Y-on-Y

Output adjusted for working days decreased by 1.9 per cent in May 2024 from the year before, according to Statistics Finland.

Seasonally adjusted output grew by 0.7 per cent in May 2024 from the month before.

Working day adjusted primary production went down by 4.4 per cent. Secondary production decreased by 8.8 per cent and services grew by 1.0 per cent in May compared to the stipulated month of previous year.
