Industrial output grows by 3.6% in June

Seasonally adjusted industrial output grew by 3.6 per cent in June from the month before, according to Statistics Finland.
Industrial output adjusted for working days went up by 3.1 per cent compared to one year ago.
Of the main industries, output grew most compared to May in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply.
Output decreased from the previous month only in the forest industry and the food industry.
In June, industrial output grew from the previous month in nearly all main industries.
Output increased most in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (15.8%) and in the chemical industry (10.2%). Output was 6.8 per cent higher in the electrical and electronics industry and 2.2 per cent higher in the metal industry than in the previous month.
Output in mining and quarrying remained on level with May.
Output decreased slightly from the previous month only in the forest industry (0.9%) and in the food industry (0.5%).
