Prices of liquid fuels continue to drop in September

The average prices of liquid fuels decreased in September 2024 compared to the prior month, according to Statistics Finland.

The average price with taxes for diesel was EUR 1.7 and for petrol 95, EUR 1.8 per litre.

The equivalent average price for petrol 98 was EUR 1.9 and for light fuel oil EUR 1.3.

The annual change of the average price for diesel was minus 16.6 per cent in September 2024.

The annual change of the average price for petrol 95 was minus 12.2 per cent and for petrol 98 it was minus 11.6 per cent.

The annual change of the average price for light fuel oil was minus 20.1 per cent.

The monthly change of the average price was biggest for light fuel oil (minus 3.8%) and smallest for diesel (minus 2.3%).
