4,829 debt restructuring petitions filed in 2024

A total of 4,829 debt restructuring petitions of private persons were filed with district courts in 2024, according to Statistics Finland.
The number of petitions filed in last year was 21 or 0.4 % higher than the number in the previous year.
Altogether 49.0 per cent of debt restructuring petitions were filed by men and 51.0 per cent by women in 2024.
