Prices of old single dwelling houses fall by 2.4% in 2024

Prices of old one-dwelling houses fell by 2.4 per cent in the whole country in 2024, according to Statistics Finland.
Prices of one-dwelling house plots rose by 0.8 per cent. Transactions of old one-dwelling houses fell by 1.8 per cent from 2023.
In Greater Helsinki, prices of old one-dwelling houses went down by 1.1 per cent and in the rest of the country by 2.6 per cent during 2024.
Prices of old one-dwelling houses fell most in Northern Finland (5.1%) from the previous year. Prices went up by 2.0 per cent in Eastern Finland.
Prices of one-dwelling house plots decreased by 11 per cent in municipalities with 20,000 to 100,000 inhabitants. Elsewhere, the prices of plots rose by over nine per cent.
Prices of new one-dwelling houses decreased by 2.6 per cent in 2024.
