Building costs up by 1.6% in March

Building costs rose by 1.6 per cent in March 2018 from one year back, according to Statistics Finland.

The prices of materials went up by 2.4 per cent, while services by 2.1 per cent and labour inputs by 0.6 per cent compared with March 2017.

From February to March, the total index of building costs remained unchanged.

The prices of labour inputs, materials and services all remained unchanged from February.
