Building costs raise by 2.5% in November

Building costs posted a year-on-year rise of 2.5 per cent in November 2018, according to the Statistics Finland.

The prices of construction materials went up by 2.7 per cent, those of labour inputs by 2.4 per cent, and those of services by 1.0 per cent compared with that in November 2017.

From October to November, the total index of building costs rose by 0.2 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 0.3 per cent and the prices of labour inputs by 0.2 per cent. The prices of services remained unchanged from the previous month.
