The celebrations of the New Year Eve will be held across the country tonight amidst festivity and joys.
Fireworks will be exhibited in most of the major cities at the midnight to welcome the New Year 2020.
In Helsinki, the festivities will be held next to the city’s flagship library Oodi and the Music Centre, reported the national broadcaster Yle.
The City of Helsinki is set to host a New Year’s Eve party at Citizen’s Square on Tuesday evening.
The celebrations may cause traffic disruptions on major thoroughfares in the surrounding area, particularly from 10pm to 1:30am. The partygoers are urged to use public transport or walk to the area.
The celebrations will begin through a children’s concert at 5.00pm and exhibit children’s fireworks display.
At 10.00pm the party begins for the older set, featuring a midnight fireworks display, with performances by DJs, musicians, rappers and headlined by Finnish pop star Alma, the Yle report added.
