The national postal and logistic services operator Posti has stipulated the deadline for sending Christmas greetings to Europe on December 8 while other countries outside of Europe on December 1.

Economy cards and letters for outside Europe should be sent by November 24 at the latest, said Posti in a press release on Wednesday.

Parcels as well as Priority cards and letters for outside Europe must be sent by December 1 at the latest.

The deadline for the economy service to Europe is set on December 1 while the deadline for the priority service to Europe on December 8.

Parcels as well as Priority cards and letters to the Nordic Region should be sent by December 14 at the latest (except for Denmark, December 7) while the economy service by December 7 at the latest (except for Denmark, November 30).

The deadline for the priority service to the Baltic countries is December 16 while the economy service is December 9.

The final dates, however, could be changed as Posti gets a better idea of the flight connections and capacities in the period leading up to Christmas.
