The autumn joint application to higher education will begin on September 4 and will continue September 14, said Finnish National Agency for Education in a press release on Thursday.

In the autumn joint application, students can apply to degree programmes starting in January 2024. The applicants can submit the application on Studyinfo.fi.

There are 9 438 study places in 322 application options to apply to.

Most of the programmes available are offered in Finnish – however, there are tens of programmes available in English in multiple sectors.

Students can apply to both Bachelor’s and Master’s level programmes.

Five universities and 20 universities of applied sciences (Polytechnic Institute) take part in the autumn joint application, with 92% of the programmes offered by universities of applied sciences.

Most of the programmes offered by universities are either Master’s level programmes or programmes aimed at open university students.

Students can apply to up to six programmes in the autumn joint application. The programmes must be selected in an order of preference.

Students can only be offered admission to one application option. If students are accepted to multiple programmes, they will only be offered admission to the one that is highest on their application preference list.

The admission results will be published on November 24 at the latest.
