Record students apply to Aalto University's bachelor's programmes

Aalto University's bachelor's programmes received more than 28 000 applications in the spring, said the university in a press release on Wednesday.
The bachelor's programmes taught in Finnish and Swedish attracted a record number of applicants.
Aalto University bachelor’s programmes received a total of 22 681 applications in the second joint application procedure of the spring for higher education institutions, which ended on 25 March.
Among the 14 747 applicants, 9 416 had selected an Aalto study option as their top choice.
Altogether, the Aalto University English-medium bachelor’s programmes attracted applications from 3 121 applicants.
Out of the total 5 940 applications, 3 251 were submitted to degree programmes in technology, 454 to those in arts and 2 235 to degree programmes in business.

The number of applicants increased by 9% in this spring’s joint application procedure, compared to 2024.
