2 dead in train-car crash in northern Greece

Two people were killed in a collision between a mini van and a train in northern Greece, Greek national news agency AMNA reported on Saturday.

The victims, a man and a woman, were the passengers of the vehicle, the Fire Brigade said.

The accident occurred at the outskirts of the city of Veria this afternoon.

There were no injuries among the 57 passengers of the train.
