French President Emmanuel Macron said three of the European Union's (EU) top positions should be decided when he arrived at a key EU meeting here in Brussels on Sunday.
Leaders from the 28 EU member states are arriving for the evening's special meeting to decide on their nominees for top EU jobs.
Macron said it's important to emerge from the meeting with answers and a new team.
He said three positions, including the European Commission President, should be decided, but the governor of the European Central Bank should probably be decided a little bit later.
Macron also stressed gender balance, saying there should be two female nominations.
