Ukraine's parliament dismissed Ilya Yemets from the post of minister of health on Monday, state news agency Ukrinform reported.

Yemets was appointed to the post of health minister on March 4. He had headed the Ministry of Health in 2010-2011.

The death toll from COVID-19 in Ukraine rose to 11 on Monday as the number of confirmed cases reached 480, the Health Ministry said.

Ukraine has imposed a mode of emergency throughout its entire territory for 30 days until April 24 to combat the epidemic.
