4 dead in Moscow apartment shooting

Four people, including a child, were killed by gunfire in an apartment here on Thursday, the Russian Investigative Committee said, reported Xinhua.

After receiving a call from neighbors, police officers and investigators arrived and found the bodies of two women, a man and a child with gunshot wounds in the apartment, the Moscow division of the committee said in a statement.

The neighbors told the law enforcers that a boyfriend of one of the deceased women entered the apartment before the gunshots were heard, according to the statement.

An investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident, it said.

Earlier media reports said that four people were dead, including two children and the shooter who committed suicide afterwards.
