5 children found dead in flat in Germany

Bodies of five dead children have been found in a flat in the western German city of Solingen, reported Xinhua on Thursday, quoting German Press Agency (dpa).

The circumstances of the incident remain unclear. Police vehicles and ambulances are seen in front of the house in the afternoon, said the report.

BBC adds: Police say they suspect the 27-year-old mother of killing the children before attempting to take her own life at a train station in nearby Düsseldorf.
