Landslide hits town near Oslo

Twenty-one people are still missing following a major landslide that swept through the town of Ask near the Norwegian capital on Wednesday, reported Xinhua, quoting local media.
Police became aware that a major quick clay landslide had hit the residential area of the town, some 31 km northeast of Oslo in the early hours of Wednesday morning, reported state-owned media NRK. Injuries were also reported.
According to the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE), around 700 have been evacuated.
