1 dead, 3 missing in refugee boat sinking off Greece's Lesvos Island

The Greek Coast Guard found alive on Lesvos Island three persons who were reported missing after a boat sank nearby on Tuesday, reported Xinhua, quoting Greek national news agency AMNA.

Earlier, authorities had retrieved the body of a man and located 24 refugees and migrants in a rocky site on the island.

All have now been transferred to Mytilene port for first aid, AMNA reported. The nationalities of the victim and survivors have not been clarified yet.
