Bulgaria seizes 184 kg of amphetamine at border

Bulgarian law enforcement officers have seized 183.64 kg of amphetamine near the country's borders with Greece and Turkey, authorities said on Thursday, reported Xinhua.
A border patrol has found the illicit drug hidden in blackberry bushes along Kanakliyska river near Svilengrad, the Ministry of Interior and national Prosecutor's Office said in a joint statement.
It was split into 72 packets and put into eight sacks, the statement said.
Authorities estimated that the value of the amphetamine on the black market would exceed 3.38 million U.S. dollars.
The investigation is ongoing.
