The Lithuanian government on Wednesday eased some COVID-19 restrictions for tour guides, amusement parks and visits to prison inmates, reported Xinhua, quoting local media.

Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte told reporters that the restrictions are being relaxed to allow guides to take certain groups on outdoor excursions and enable amusement parks to reopen.

The prime minister said that the number of people allowed to take part in these activities will be limited in accordance with the existing rules.

Minister of Economy and Innovation Ausrine Armonaite proposed at a government meeting to let groups of up to ten people go on guided outdoor excursions and to allow amusement parks to reopen. The number of people allowed into amusement parks would also be limited to ten, or each visitor would have to be provided with a space of 50 square meters.
