Train station in Paris evacuated over bomb alert

The North Railway Station in Paris was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon due to a bomb alert, French National Railway Company (SNCF in French) confirmed on its social media, reported Xinhua.

According to the SNCF, all rail traffic was temporarily suspended in the station at the request of local authorities due to an unclaimed luggage.

The SNCF said that the traffic would be resumed from 6 p.m. local time.
