2 killed, 20 wounded in school bus accident in Turkey

At least two people were killed and 20 others were injured on Tuesday when a school bus overturned in Turkey's northwestern province of Kocaeli, reported Xinhua, quoting local media.

Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz stated that the bus carrying students fell down into a dry creek bed from a connection bridge and overturned, according to the NTV broadcaster.

NTV said the bus driver lost control of the vehicle on the bridge and hit a woman passing by and tumbled.

Media reports said multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene from the surrounding districts, and two people, including one student and the woman hit by the bus, died.
