German man held for making bomb threat on Amsterdam plane

A German man was arrested while on a plane at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport on Sunday after he told a fellow passenger shortly before take-off that he was carrying a bomb, reported dpa.
A search of the 22-year-old and the aircraft did not find any explosives, Dutch border police said.
The plane departed about 30 minutes late for the flight to Miami - without the German passenger.
The man has yet to be interrogated and it was unclear why he claimed he had a bomb, a police spokesperson told the Dutch news agency ANP.
