1 killed, 14 injured in train collision in Germany

Two trains collided in the south of the Bavarian capital Munich in Germany on Monday. One person died and many others were injured, reported Xinhua.

A passenger died in the accident. According to the police, 14 people were injured and 80 other passengers were being medically examined. Around 200 people of rescue forces were on site in the evening. Helicopters were also deployed.

Local media reported that the trains collided around 4:40 p.m. local time. Currently, the affected route is completely blocked. The cause of the accident is still unclear.
