A mother and her 13-year-old son have died after being stabbed in their home in West Midland, Britain, local media reported Thursday.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing the pair to death and seriously injuring the woman's husband.

Local police said they understood the suspect was acquaintance to the family but was not a family relative.
