UK´s hostage incident not terror-related: police

British police said on Sunday that the hostage situation they were dealing with at a leisure complex in Nuneaton was not terror related.

Warwickshire police's Twitter account said that officers are still dealing with "ongoing incident" in Bermuda Park, Nuneaton, and confirmed the incident is "unconnected to any terrorist activity".

The latest development came around one hour after local police said a man with a shotgun had taken hostage in the park and told people to stay away from the scene.
