Man shot dead in Sofia

One man was shot dead in the center of the Bulgarian capital Sofia on Friday, the country's Ministry of Interior said, reported Xinhua.

The 41-year-old man was shot in the head at one of the markets in Sofia, and died on the way to the hospital, the ministry said.

The 62-year-old shooter was arrested at the crime scene, it said.

An investigation is underway.
