Germany sending 4 more Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine

Berlin will send four more Leopard 2A6 tanks from its army stocks to Ukraine, the Defence Ministry said on Friday, the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion, reported dpa.
"Germany is thus increasing the number of tanks it is delivering from 14 to 18," the ministry said.
Germany has been looking for partners to help equip a Ukrainian batallion with an overall 31 Leopard tanks, a process that has proven more arduous than expected.
Poland has so far pledged 14 older Leopard 2A4 models for another batallion and said the first arrived on Friday.
