A Turkish national suspected of being a member of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) was arrested at Frankfurt airport after being extradited from custody in Cyprus, the German Federal Public Prosecutor's Office said on Tuesday, reported dpa.
The man was arrested on Friday and is in pre-trial detention, the court said.
He is suspected of having organized propaganda events and meetings on behalf of the PKK for so-called PKK regions and PKK areas, including the German cities of Hamburg, Bremen, Kiel, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Bonn among others.
Germany's top prosecuting authority said he worked full-time for the PKK since 2018 and was also responsible for collecting donations.
