2 killed after Russia attacks convoy in east Ukraine

Two people were killed and a German national was among those who were injured in eastern Ukraine when shots were fired at the car they were travelling in, reported dpa.

"We are aware of the case of an injured German national," the German Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.

The injured suffered shrapnel wounds and burns and were being treated in hospitals, the German ministry said.
