German family believed killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza Strip

A German family is believed to be among the thousands killed in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip, according to the Foreign Office in Berlin and newspaper reports., reported dpa

"Unfortunately, we have to assume at this stage that a German family is among the victims of the fighting in Gaza," the Foreign Office told dpa on Saturday in response to inquiries.

The Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported that a German family of six had been killed when Israeli forces dropped a bomb on their home in Gaza on October 25, citing information from relatives.
